This blog has been created for the students who are doing their research work for thesis. The objectives of the course are:
1.Given the examples of various research areas and the NoodleTools to explore for more (C), the students who are starting their research (A) will be able to find a specific area of interest for their research (B) with 90% correctness (D).
2.Given the examples of the review of related literatures (C), the students who are starting their research (A) will be able to review at least two related literature (B) with 90% correctness (D).
3.Given examples of different research topics (C), the students who are starting their research (A) will be able to specify one research topic (B) with 100% correctness (D).
4.Given examples of various review of the related literature (C), the students who are starting their research (A) will be able to review six literatures related to the topic (B) with 80% correctness (D).
5.Given the examples and information about APA style in the NoodleTools (C), the students who are starting their research (A) will be able to prepare a bibliography using the APA format (B) with 100% correctness (D).
(Note: A= Audience, B: Behavior, C: Condition, D: Degree)
What will we be doing?
Please browse the website http://noodletools.com/ (as we had discussed in calss the last week)and do the task given below:
1. Find out a specific area for research by using the NoodleTools and share your area of the research on this blog. (Week 1)
2. Again go through the NoodleTools aand review at least two related literatures in the research area you have selected. Please inlcude author’s surname and date, the title of the study, major objectives of the study, methodology (sample size, research tools, place of the study, and process of data analysis), major finding and your comment. Also note that you have limit your review in 250 words maximum. (Week 1)
3. Specify a topic for the research: Please go through the NoodleTools again and specify specific topic for your research. (Week 2)
4. Review at least six literature related to the topic.Please do as in 2. (Week 2)
5. Prepare a bibliography using the APA format. Go through the NoodleTools again and preapre a list of bibliography of the literature you have consulted. (Week 3)
6. Reflection: Please share what you learned, how the technology was useful for developing your research skill, whether you recommend this tool to other friends on this blog.
